We’re excited to officially welcome Ángel Leal to the Coriel team, following a successful internship that saw him quickly become a valuable contributor across multiple projects. Ángel joins us as a Software Developer.
Ángel first joined us to gain experience in the world of RFID, automation, and asset tracking – but his enthusiasm, teamwork, and willingness to learn meant he soon found himself right at the heart of our work. We sat down with Ángel to hear about his experience so far and what’s next for him in his new role.

What’s been the most rewarding project you’ve worked on at Coriel, and what made it stand out?
“Having recently joined Coriel, in my first few months I’ve been focused on learning about the innovative technologies we use, understanding the way we work, and getting to know my colleagues who have taught me so much during my internship.
The most rewarding project so far was configuring a set of readers for a customer site in Germany. What initially seemed like a simple task quickly became more complex, but with effort and teamwork, we successfully completed it. Explaining how the system worked and seeing the employees’ satisfaction at how much manual work it saved them was incredibly fulfilling.”
What was it about Coriel that made you want to remain with the company?
“From day one, I felt like part of the team. I was involved in key projects, trusted with meaningful tasks, and even participated in external events and field visits alongside partners from other companies. That sense of inclusion, purpose, and teamwork made it an easy decision to stay at this great company.”
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
“Right now, I’m involved in a major new project that we’re building completely from scratch. It’s exciting because every step presents a unique opportunity to learn something new, collaborate closely with talented colleagues, and develop both my technical skills and teamwork abilities. Being part of a project from its very beginning allows me to contribute ideas and see the direct impact of our work as it evolves. I’m really enjoying this process, as it combines constant learning, creativity, and collective effort. All things that motivate me every day.”
And finally… if you could automate one thing in your daily life (outside of work), what would it be and why?
“Definitely, I’d automate doing the laundry, from sorting clothes to washing, drying, folding, and even putting them away. It’s one of those never-ending chores that always seems to pile up no matter how often you do it. Automating it would save a lot of time and mental energy, and it would definitely make my daily routine feel much lighter and more efficient.”

Ángel’s journey is a great example of what happens when curiosity meets opportunity, and we’re excited to see where his next chapter at Coriel leads.
Welcome (officially) to the team, Ángel!
